Colt M5 Sentry 5.56mm 16 ” Barrel

The Colt M5 family of rifles has been in service with foreign militaries and law enforcement since 2017 and is just now, in mid-2022, making an entrance in the US commercial and law enforcement market.  For Colt fans, the full ambi lower and the new proprietary free float rail are sure to be crowd pleasers.  You can now have a Colt rifle that mirrors other military grade, full-ambi, 5.56 rifles like those from Knights Armament and LMT.

This model, at 16″, is not an SBR.  The rifle is semi-automatic, and is designated as the Sentry model by Colt.  With a long product number of CM556-16-M5S, the S designates either Semi-Automatic or Sentry (the military models end in an A for automatic).
